My mom, Mary A Deloughery - Born November 4 1933 in Kilkee County Clare. She is 75 yrs old now. Sadly she is not able to privide me with information. She has a lot of forgetfullness. I know my mom came over in 1956 on the Brittanic Ship to New York City and she lived with someone in Jersey City New Jersey..I only knew her as Aunt Liz.
Her sister Crissy Deloughery is now Crissy Garvey. Mom and Crissy also had a brother Stephen who is passed on. I don't know if there were any other sisters or brothers.
My aunt Crissy lives in Kilkee. I haven't heard from her or anyone else from my mom's side of the family .. in over a year. Are you a relative of Crissy Garvey? the last address I have for my aunt Crissy is 7 McSweeney Terrace.
I want desperately to get any information and I pray for at least one picture of my grandparents. I never met them and would love to have pictures of everyone on my mom's side of the family. My husband Jim and I have a son and grandchildren now and would like them to know their family history. I even sent a camera over to my aunt and asked that pictures be taken and the camera sent back to me. i would pay them back for the postage and also I would develop the pictures. I never received anything back.
I have sent Christmas cards and a letter with all of my information in it but for some reason I have not received anything back. I hope everything is ok. I live in Edison New Jersey USA. My e-mail is jkmac2@optonline.net.
