Yes those beautiful blue eyes. I didn't get them I got my moms darker blue eyes but it is definately a trait. Their were 4 in my dads family and all of them had them. I have an old picture of my great great Grandfather James Minogue and he has those eyes (of course the photo is black and white but you can still tell.) That photo of James is funny, he looks like my Uncles and father (bald at a young age)but he has this long, long beard.

Do you know what part of Clare your Minogue's were from. My grandfathers brother was Joseph and his son was Joseph but they had a farm in Waukegan, IL which is just outside of Chicago.

Could you tell me a little more about your family. My great-great grandfather came to the US by 1855 if not earlier. They are found in the Saratoga Springs NY census. They moved to Chciago by about 1860.
