Hi Oliver - the only information I have is - John Droney married Mary Glynn in Kilfenora 27 Nov 1844, one of the witnesses was Bridget Glynn. John and Mary Droney had a child Honor baptised 5 Jul 1846 and a sponsor was Bridget Glynn. They had another child Patrick baptised 9 Jan 1848 and sponsors were Patrick and Honor Glynn. Laurence Droney was baptised 16 Apr 1853. Glynns came from civil parish of Kilfenora, Townland of Lisdoony West. In 1854 Bridget Glynn married Michael Salmon and their 3rd child Margaret was baptised 22 Sep 1860 and a sponsor was Laurence Droney. The Salmons came from civil parish of Kilmoon, Townland of Knockaskeheen.According to Griffiths Valuation there was a Patrick Droney living in civil parish of Kilmoon, Townland of Knockaskeheen,a neighbour of the Salmons. In 1901 there is a Laurence Droney age 55 living at Carrownahooan East. I am guessing he was born in 1853?? Liz
