I have been given this information about my G. Grandfather by my uncle along with a photo of a large wall mounted grave stone in the Church Of Ireland in Cobh,[Protestant Church]. Co Cork.

the epitaph reads...
This monument was errected by Ab.m Hargrave of Ballynoe in the county of Cork to the memory of his respected parents and beloved niece.

Sacred to the memory of
Ab.m Hargrave Esq* of this city [Cobh] Who died March 20Th 1808
In the 53 year of his age
And to his relict Jannette Hargrave who departed this life
4th December 1824 aged 62 years
It also perpetuates the memory of their grand child Sarah Wright
Eldest daughter of Joshua Hargrave of this city. Merchant
And grand daughter of the late John Wright of Silsden Hall
In the county of York Esq*
Who died of fever 20th day of December 1829 in the 20th year of her age.

I dont know if this is the kind of information u were looking for?

I also have some more info about Ab.m Hargrave who was very active in the sailing club at Cobh and who owned an 18 tonne sailing boat.
