My husband's Gt Grd.father was David Higgins b.1840 County Cork. He married Mary O'Bryan in RC Church Crayford,Kent in 1862. Mary O'Bryan/Brian born Skibereen 1840, parents Daniel and Johana.
Can find no refereces of David Higgins prior to marriage in 1862, where his father given as Richard Higgins (deceased) occ. Land Steward. David obviously immigrated to England.
1911 Census for David Higgins in Crayford, Kent gives birthplace as County Cork, then what looks like "Yarrish of conn??"
