Surnames: Ahearn, Barry, Brickley, Broderick, Coakley, Crowley, Deasy, Fleming, Holland, Hurley, Kirby, Mahoney, McCarthy, Regan, Sullivan, White
I was corresponding recently with a cousin in Pittsburgh, PA, who mentioned that his grandfather, who was born in West Cork, was a motorman on the streetcars there. I recalled seeing others with that occupation so I did a little digging in census and naturalization records and came up with a list of over 20 men from the parish of Barryroe who immigrated to Pittsburgh and worked on the street railway. They worked together, lived together and intermarried with each other's families--perfect example of "chain migration." Here are the men:

Ahearn Cornelius 1879, Ballymacshoneen
Barry Edward 1888, Carrigcluhir
Barry John 1892, Shanagh
Barry Michael 1890, Shanagh
Brickley Jeremiah 1882, Timoleague
Broderick Patrick 1887, Butlerstown
Coakley Denis 1888, Barryshall, Timoleague
Crowley John 1886, Lehenagh
Deasy Daniel 1891, Lehanagh
Deasy Lawrence 1888, Lehenagh
Fleming Patrick 1892, Butlerstown
Holland Michael 1888, Butlerstown, poss. Tirnanean
Hurley Denis 1884, Butlerstown
Kirby Jeremiah 1896
Kirby Patrick 1886, Ballymacredmond
Mahoney Michael 1888, Abbeymahon
Mahoney Patrick 1884 Abbeymahon
McCarthy Denis 1889, Ballymacredmond
Regan Patrick 1875
Sullivan Michael 1886, Lehena
White William 1866, Ardgehane

I have other details if anyone is interested.
