In 1823 my ggg grandparents, William and Francis (Meehan) GREGG along with their three children and William's brother, Michael emigrated from Ireland to Upper Canada as part of the Peter Robinson venture. The Gregg family traveled abroad the Stakesby and were in Pakenham, District of Bathurst, Lanark County, but eventually ended up in Allumette Island, Quebec. Per Michael's marriage record, his parents were Edmond Gregg and Mary Sexton.
I am trying to research Edmond Gregg and Mary Sexton, as well as William and Michael's siblings. Can anyone give me ideas as to where to look at parish records, etc. in Ireland and Canada. Any help would be appreicated.
