wow - that's very interesting!

I'm trying to trace my ancestors back to your area. Can you tell me if you have records for your family back to the mid-1800s?

I've found some records for my family online and from Church of the Holy Trinity but not enough to get back too many generations. My Great-Great-Grandmother, Margaret Bohane, was born circa 1850. So far I've been able to find 3 siblings: Catherine,Francis/Frank,& Mary. Margaret married James HUSSEY in 1874 and had at least 4 children: Robert, Mary, Margaret, & Ellen. She supposedly died in childbirth/shortly thereafter, but I haven't found any record yet.

I would really appreciate knowing if your family is possibly connected to this family --- was Bohane that common a name that there would be multiple families, unrelated, in one town?
