Classification: Query
I am looking for information on the SAVAGE family from County Cork.
WIlliam SAVAGE b. @1750 d. 1824 Ireland married Margaret LANE in 1772.
They lived on and ran a farm called Bally-na-moche near the town
of Bandon. William died in Ireland and the family then emigrated
to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canada about 1872,
with the exeption of thier son Daniel. Daniel's children
from his first marriage did go to Canada, but Daniel remained in Ireland.
I understand that after the family emigrated the farm was then
run by the Lane family.
Any information would be helpful. Thanks.
William and Margaret (Lane) SAVAGE's children:
1. William b@1790; 2. Denis b. @1780 and married Mary Devine;
3. John; 4.Patrick; 5. Maurice; 6. James married Ms. Belliew;
7. Daniel married 1st Ms. Deasy and 2nd Ms. Chancy; 8. Margaret
who married Patrick Hickey; 9. Ellen who married Mr. Mahoney;
10. Mary who married Timothy Hatnett; 11. Catherine who married
Mr. Hern.
