My Coogan family as I said came
from Castlecomer. It was a mother and her two sons ......A Julia Keating
Coogan and sons John and Michael. I am not sure what happened to Julia 's
husband . They came to America on a boat and arrived in New York on or
about Sept 12, 1845. I have always enjoyed my Irish heritage but need to
find out more about it. Again any help that you or your family could give
me is greatly appreciated . My name is Arthur Smith .
