I'm researching my ancestors and their descendants who lived in Drung, Upper Moville. Co. Donegal.

My Grandfather John Duffy married Anne Brookins in St Columba's RC Chapel in 1900.

John's parents were Cornelius Duffy & Catherine McAuley who married in 1861 in Drung. They had seven children:- William b.1864 d.1933 (Scot), Bridget b.1865, Charles b.1871, John b.1874 d.1947 (Scot), Cornelius b.abt1877 d.1946 (Scot), Catherine b. abt.1888 d.1949 (Scot), seventh unknown.

Anne's parents were Patrick Brookins & Mary Turner. They also had seven children:- John b.1865, Margaret b.1868, Anne b.1869, Sarah b.1871, Ahnes b.1874, Patrick b.1876, seventh unknown.

According to the 1911 Census Patrick & Mary were alive and at this point the name had changed to Brooks.

I would appreciate any help and would be happy to share my research so far.
