In Griffiths Evaluation 1857 I found reference to Margaret and Maggie Loughrey who lived in Stroove, Green Castle and had a "Tea Room". I believe these might be related to my Ggrandmother who came from Northern Ireland I found no reference to Bernard, her father's name was Bernard Loughrey according to her death certificate dated 1928 Philadelphia PA. Her first child I believe was named Maggie. Can someone tell me if the Irish gave up their maiden name when marrying?
