Am researching Patrick RODY of Irish descent. The best I can determine his family came from Donegal County. The name may have been O'Rodehan, O'Rodachain, or O'Roddy. Other variationss are Rodden, O'Rodain.

Am desirous of identifying the family in Donegal County to which Patrick Rody belonged.

Patrick Rody was born April, 1838 or 1839 and died June 30, 1925 in CA. He was the son of Dominic and Lizzie Rody. It is unknown if Dominic and Lizzie Rody immigrated. There is some indication Dominic and Lizzie may have immigrated to Canada, and then Patrick migrated to Ogdensburg, NY. The first official record found of Patrick Rody is Feb.3,1862 in Ogdensburg, NY where he enlisted in the Union Army. I have extensive information on his descendants which I am willing to exchange.
