Hello,

I'm looking for some help in finding a parish or village in Co. Down. I just found my great-great uncle's (William Morgan) naturalization papers. This is the first documentation where a town or parish was listed (everything else I have says either Ireland or Co. Down.) It is written as "Bally ally", but I can't find anything by that name. I'm thinking the ally part may either how it sounded to whoever was filling out the document or possibly what the residents called it. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could actually be? Thanks!
