Hi Peter,
I have been sent your mail below and found it very interesting as I have been trying to trace David Ritchie and Mary Armstrong for years with no real success. I have the Movilla inscription but have yet to connect to my John Ritchie b Down c1795 d 1866 Portpatrick. I have copies of the freeholders but can't connect to any of them. You list John and Elizabeths children but missed David their second born 1831 their son John was b 1837. I have traced all this family with the eception of James Brown Ritchie who I lose in the 1860's. If you have any information that could assist me with the brickwall that has kept me at a standstill I would be most grateful. Co Down is my stumbling block.
I Thank You
