Julie, I show Eugene Segraves as a son of John T. R. Segraves and Mary Monk, born in Oct 1867 in PA. the source for his mother is a personal history of John Walter Segraves, as I described before. It is curious, because Eugene first appears in the 1880 census in Stewartsville, Warren Co., NJ as the 12 year old son of John T. R. and Caroline. Unless Caroline and Mary Monk are the same person, the timing is wrong.
In any case, Eugene shows up next on the 1900 census in Pohatcong Twp., Warren Co., NJ as follows:
Eugene, Oct 1867, PA; Sarah P., wife, Sep 1866, NJ; Earl, son, Nov 1889, NJ; and Carl, son, Oct 1896, NJ.
That's all I have on these folks, I hope it's useful.
