I'm doing research for my daughter's new mother-in-law. I have traced her line back to a Maria Louisa DE MONTMORENCY who married John Thomas KNOX at the Parish Church of St. Peter, Dublin, Ireland on 5 May 1853. It identifies her father as Harvey DE MONTMORENCY, esq. I've also found what I believe is her baptism record on 5 Mar 1832, at St. Michan (Catholic) also in Dublin. Her parents are listed as "Harvy Francisci DeMontmorency" and Maria Richard(s?)Skelton. The sponsors were Davide Fanell and Sara Skelton.
John Thomas KNOX and Maria Louisa DE MONTMORENCY had children Francis Frederick Harvey KNOX, John Raymond KNOX, George KNOX, Marie Louise Elizabeth KNOX, and Henrietta Eliza Catherine KNOX.
Any ideas how these DeMontmorencys connect to the lines in Dublin at the time?
