I am interested in Frank Winterson, who was in the 1911 census in Bawnboy, Cavan, but had been born in Fermanagh; I think he must be a son or other relative of Owen Winterson of Doon, Fermanagh. Frank's son was John, there was a daughter Ellen Rose b. 1903 and a son Owen, who was born in Cavan. The older children had been born in America; the family must have returned to Ireland between 1906 and 1908. I'm interested in this family because my husband's great aunt Ellen Lunney was married to Frank Winterson. THis is why I think these Cavan Wintersons must be the same as the Wintersons of Doon, because she was from the next townland, Molly. Ellen Rose Winterson emigrated to the Boston area in 1928; what happened to her?
