I read another post on the Braden Brothers saying they were from this area or one of the other counties in that area of Ireland.

The information I have is they came from Derry to Westmoreland Co. Pennsylvania about 1790. This came from accounts from my 3rd great grandfather EJ Braden in the book" History of Derry Township". The Braden name is also very rare in Derry, Ireland. My dad had told me the spelling of the name was changed to Braden after the brothers came to this country. He did not know what it was before then.

It seems to me there would be more information on them since they were very instrumental in settling the area of St Claire later changed to Bradenville in 1801.

Thank you for your suggestions.
