This is 12 years late but here goes. My g g grandfather was married in 1871. He listed his home town as Wood Bed. Through my research I have come to understand that the translation of Wood Bed is Kilnalappa. Since he was married in Cloonfad about 10 miles away it fit. Additionally, his name was Patrick Comer and I have read that there is a remnant of an old circular fort in Kilnalappa named Comer's fort. Too much to be a coincidence. Don't you think?
