Being 50 in 1901, daughter Mary Anne 22 and son John
25, she Catherine would of been born around 1841. Her son born est 1876 and daugh Mary Ann born est 1879

These children would miss the CD I have 1864-1875.

This is the only marriage on familysearch.org between the name John Nolan and woman Catherine (there is no location)

John Nolan age 32 (1835) marr. Catherine Doyle age 19(1848)

Roscommon:

John Nolan, married Strokestown, Roscommon there is a matching Catherine Nolan (maiden name?) with the same

and Catherine Nolan (Doyle)

child Patrick Nolan born 01 May 1875 parents John Nolan and Catherine Doyle

child Patrick Nolan born 01 Feb 1880 parents John Nolan and
Kate Doyle

If this is the same couple Kate not Catherine then the second Patrick could of replaced a Patrick born (1875)and died a common practice in Ireland

Hopefully that would be of some assistance figuring out who is who. Any birth after 1864 is a civil birth and a copy of a birth certificate is available from www.groireland.ie
They will also do a bit of a search as well.

A quick search of the Roscommon telephone book has 1Nolan living in Strokestown, I would write a letter to this person
the address is sufficient for mail delivery, no postal codes required.

Another thought as I tried looking up the lunatic asylum in Roscommon is the prison records:

John Nolan 1884 Galway residence Balyfornan, Roscommon
age 48 (est1836) accessory to the Murder Wm. Mahon
Item 1, Book 1/21/12, Galway 004492675
