When you speak of Fairfield are you referencing the source http://places.galwaylibrary.ie/history/chapter4.html
? John Wesley Vistis Ireland? this article simply lists Mr and Mrs Wade of Fairfield-and it does list Mr. David Wakefield-also of this parish. I have also thought about maybe David was born on the family estate listed in the Wakefield Memorial but maybe he lived elsewhere as an adult.
Have you also been to http://nebekerfamilyhistory.com/nebgen/Return_to_Home_Page.h...
And visited the library and clicked on the book Wakefield and looked at the info and pictures for the Wade home in Ireland? Is this the home of the Thomas Wade you are mentioning? They utilize what is in the Wakefield Memorial but I have never seen where it has been proven or known for sure about the parents of Mary Jane or Elizabeth Wade. What records do you have that support your opinion?
I have looked at what census records are available and the tithe records. Trying to figure out the Wakefields that stayed in Ireland and those later "Unclassifieds" page 250-Wakefield Memorial-another David Wakefield-younger than mine born on the same family estate-Urrachy-and the tithe records for 1823-1824-there is a listing for a David WAkefield. And if I remember correctly at familysearch where you can find the tithe records maybe an estate proceeding listed-the other Wakefields listed are being searched by another Wakefield family tying to tie in with the Wakefields listed in the Wakefield Memorial. It is available at openlibrary.org The others are related to the Walshes that are on the 1850-1 Griffiths-and then the 1901 & 1911 Census.
you will find an estate for Wade family and records for a later period but the Wakefield in the barony of Athlone County Roscommon interests me. In 1850 lived at the Mitchell home.
I am really interested in your opinion that Thomas Wade may be the father of Mary Jane Wade. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
