I am a direct descendant of Libeas 1828-1916 & his 1st wife Ruth Mussett - via their son William Lane Brophy. I have found 1850-1910 census, Ky death certificate, and marriage record (Ruth-Indiana)for Libeas. His death certificate states parents unknown. No other records indicate a parentage, only family tree records which suggest Libeas's father was William. Please send me an email of the informatio of his parentage including sources. I & thers have not been able to crack it. Research has also indicated an Irish heritage in this line besides the name Brophy is indeed Irish. But when his line immigrated has also evaded me. I plan to visit very soon Cedar Grove cemetary to see if a marker exist for him there or contact the caretakers of it and the funeral home that administered his funeral. I also want to check the Library and Archives for his Obit. as they have the local papers on M-F. My Email is marksmail3@hotmail.com Please Email me with the info asap so I can be armed for this local research. Thank you so much for your post and offer to illuminate this mystery

Regards
Mark
