I'm looking for any information on a Cummisky family who lived in Westmeath, Ireland in the 1800s. I have a relative, Catherine Cummisky, who came to Lancashire, England between 1881-1890. She was born around 1858. If anyone has any information about families with that surname in the county around the same time, I would love to hear.

On her marriage certificate to John Smith in 1890 her surname is spelt "Comiskey", at the birth of her first child the mothers maiden name is recorded as "Cumisky" and for her second child it is written "Cummisky"
