It is unknown when this family came from Ireland (unknown where)to USA…....The 1850 census of North Carolina, William is 12 yrs old, Patrick is 10 yrs old. Both shown born in NC…. In the 1860 census of Chester Co., SC, William has married Annie Ferguson.....Patrick is found in the home of the McFadden family with a Sarah Roney, age 75 born 1785 in Va….. Is Sarah related to Patrick? If so how?
William Thomas and Annie went on to have several children (most all born in SC) and later moved to Texas where they died. Patrick (believe middle name might have been Robert) died in the Civil War 7-30-1864 in VA…..
