Classification: Query
Surnames: Hickey
Would like to identify the David Hickey in the following obituary from the Kerry Sentinel newspaper of 15 Sep 1900.
Presumably a draper in Castleisland, but could be Knocknagoshel. Would be about 40 years of age. His father is unknown, he is not found in the 1901 census. No baptism or marriage record found, probably because it would be in the Brosna Parish.
Any listing for a draper in Slater's Directory of 1894?
If he was a "townsman", then was the Kerry Sentinel published in Tralee?

We regret to announce the death of Mrs Hanoria Hickey mother of our esteemed townsman Mr David Hickey draper and of Rev J (John) Hickey CC Roundwood (Wicklow)which sad event occurred Wednesday (12th) at her residence Ballinattin, Knocknagoshel at the age of 74. The deceased lady was esteemed by all who knew her. She died fully interfered??? by the rights of the holy church of which she was a devoted member. Many a poor person has had in her a good friend. The funeral which took place to Dysert on Friday was large and representative.
-Kerry Sentinel Sat 15 Sep 1900.

Any leads gratefully received.
