I want to try and find more information on Daniael Mahony (his signature at marriage), who was one of two "Daniel Mahony" convicts who arrived in the Colony of New South Wales via "Mary 1" in 1819.

He was born 1797 convicted in 1818 at Luminer in Cork, sentenced to seven years transporation.

Previous family came up with this information, but gave no source. He (or another Daniel Mahoney) married Lia (Leah) Shrimpton (Simpton) in 1849 in McDonalds River, NSW.

Does anyone have resources that more closely identify him? I cannot find a Luminer in Co. Cork, nor know where he came from in Co. Kerry.
