The Manning's from Coumeenole are my people. I have made a couple of trips back to the Dingle Peninsula and had great help from friends at the Blasket Centre and family still there who have stories a plenty!

My mom's grandfather was Thomas Manning. He moved from Coumeenole to Springfield around 1920 and worked at Fisk. My mom was born there in Springfield but left before she was ten years old. Never really knew any of our history until a few years ago.
