Classification: Query
Surnames: Connor; Hoar; Sugrue; Garvey; Coffey; Sullivan; Kelleher
I know that some of the Castlegregory area Sugrue's stayed in Irland (Warren and Tularee?) area and are in the 1910 1911 census. James, the one mentioned before had a brother Patrick who md. more than once. You can see Patrick and wife Margaret in those census records; some children were Eugene; Dennis; Bridie; Margaret; Nora to name a few. There were 14 in all. Some children went to Syracuse and some to Massachusetts.
As for the Connors or O'Connor, I have that surname from my Flaherty-Sugrue Castlegregory connection and another grandparent also with the same Shugrue surname; Michael Shugrue, married Bridget Connor, the dau. of Edmund Connor of Clash, but this side lived closer to Annascaul, Co. Kerry.
I know, so confusing. Two sets of grandparents who had same surname and were connected with the Connors. So my work on this family continues.
thank you for your reply.
