I came across this thread in the process of building my family tree. I believe I am a descendant of John Sullivan. I wanted to add to the wonderful information you have compiled below. I am the granddaughter of Eleanor Sullivan and Emile Daniel Maloney. They had 2 children, my father, Richard E. Maloney (b.20 July 1930, d.23 Feb 1981) and my aunt, Sheila Maloney (b.22 July 1935).
