I recently came across a book that may interest you.
"When Youth Was Mine, A Memoir of Kerry 1902-1925". It's written by Jeremiah Murphy. He was from Kilquane.
Although it includes both the War of Independence and the Civil War, it is also about life...what is was like living in Kerry at that time.
In the book he mentions at least three of my relatives that I can confirm. Two O'Sheas and an O'Leary.
He also talks about the Moynahans, Cahills, and quite a few others. He does talk about a "fiddler" as well although at the moment I don't recall the fiddler's last name...I think it was Moynahan.
If your family(ies) are from Kerry though, it's a good "read", even if you're not directly related.
