My great grandfather was Thomas Prendergast, born in Co. Kerry about 1858; his parents were Michael or Thomas Prendergast and Ellen or Anne Healy. He came to Chicago with his sister, Margaret about 1880. Two other brothers went to Australia, and one brother went to Montanna.

I believe my Thomas Prendergast is from Castlemaine or Tralee. His wedding witness in Chicago was Dennis Savage, and I have found Prenderasts and Savages together only in Boulteens and Ardcaunaught, Castlemaine parish.

I haven't found Prendergasts and Healys together very often either. Anybody have Prendergasts and Healys in Co. Kerry or Butte, MA?
