I thought I should follow up for completeness......

I obtained the marriage cert and it does confirm John as Ellen's Father and Edward as Michael's Father.

They were married at the RC Chapel of Lucan and living at "Cursis Stream" at the time of marriage, 3/11/1896.

Michael was a labourer and Ellen a Housekeeper.

In 1901 they are living in Kildare with a young family
