I am trying to find out about my great-great-great grandparents Christopher & Julia Deering. Christopher Deering was born around 1828 in Usk, County Kildare, Ireland. He emigrated at 22 years of age to USA during the potatoe famine in 1849. His wife was Julia Duffy, daughter of William and Bridget Duffy. She was born March 21, 1821 in Milltown, Parish of Dunlavin, County Wicklow, Ireland. They met in the USA and married in Philadelphia around 1855. Julia's father William was born in Ireland around 1798. Can anyone tell me about who Chrsitopher's parents were and if there were any siblings. Also, if anyone can tell me anything about the Duffy's it would be greatly appreciated. William and Brdget Duffy were married in Ireland, however I don't know exactly where or when. I would also like to know what Bridget's maiden name was.
