Surnames: Pallister, Palister, Palliser, Cahill
I have recently received documents that my gggrandfather William Palister was married to Judith Cahill on 30th September 1839 and was witnessed by Michael Hickey and Anne Cahill. William died on 13th April 1867 in Kilkenny and his sister Anne died on 24th January 1864 in Balleen.
A son James was baptised to them on 17th September 1843 (my great uncle and sponsored by James Cahill and Attracta Palister. These records come from the Lisdowney Catholic Parish in Co. Kilkenny. I am still looking for documentation of the birth or baptism of my great grandfather William Henry Pallister, believed to have taken place in the area of Ballyragget, Lisdowney or Kilkenny.
Any information would be appreciated as to where I might find this document or any connection to the surnames mentioned. God Bless and Happy St. Patrick's Day.
