The writer has drawn data sheets on diverse Irish families (a good number from Co Kilkenny) who emigrated to eastern Québec (locations east of the St.Lawrence river and south to the US border; includes the Eastern Townships). These are sequences of marriages and sometimes allow us to guess when they left Canada and where they may have gone; there are very few left. Data gathered from Protestant and Catholic sources and include emigrants from Ireland (90%), Scotland and England. Would share this data with interested people. Requests should be limited to one family name.I am a hobby genealogist, therefore of limited means.
