Hi, I am trying to find out more about my dear late Grandmother Helen Anderson. She was born in, I think, Londonderry. Was certainly Northern Ireland. Her DOB was 29th August 1917. On 4th August 1941 she married my late Grandfather Owen James Alton (A Derbyshire man) at Glendermot county, Londonderry. Sadly Helen passed away on 12th March 1996 after a short battle with a cerebral tumour.
Tragically in 2006 I lost my last family member (Dad) Ivor, to leaukeamia at the age of 58.
I am desperate to know who my Grans parents were, any address's etc for them, whether she was christened etc but Icannot access the records for Northern Ireland on here for ssome reason. I do know that after they married, my Grandparents lived at Lower Bennett Street, Derry City.
