Matilda Jane Redfern was my paternal grandmother. She married Henry White and lived in central western Queensland, principally in and around the town of Longreach. They had ten children, the ninth of whom was my father.She died at Longreach in 1939. I think her sister Sophie also lived at Longreach. I can provide much additional information.Please respond.

Hi Michael, My grandmother was Archibald Susan Redfern After losing her first husband [ at sea ] Montys father was the only child. Susan then married a John Chichester Abbott and had another five children. So who was your relation? Did you ever here from Monty I have tried a few times but have had no luck. Catherine.
