There was an Edward Flood listed as an immediate lessor a few times in Aghaboe parish in 1850

At the time, there were a total of four people of that surname listed in the Griffiths. By 1901, there were a total of 3 Flood families in the county.

Borris in Ossory is in the civil parish of Aghaboe, Anatrim is only a few miles up the road from that.

There are two Flood headstones in the old graveyard of Anatrim, they are in what could be described as a tamily tomb in the body of the church, not our in the main graveyard.

Neither stone has deteriorated too much, however, it is not possible to read them even using with my original photographs - they need to be cleaned a bit. The first seems to be to a Robin Flood who died on Christmas day 18(?0)9. There also seems to be mention of a Cath. Flood. I can't make out any names on the second stone.
