John Francis Connors was born in Laois, probably between 1830 and 1840. He married Elizabeth Clare, also born in Laois and probably about the same time. They emigrated to America. One son Thomas Henry Connors was born in Massachusetts in 1858. I'm not sure if he was the first child, but probably not if they emigrated during the famine years as I suspect. Surely they left some Connors in Laois. Does anyone have any ideas of where to start?
