My great-great-great-grandmother was Anna Maria Phelan from Abbeylaois, Queen's County. (Co. Laois) I would love to be able to connect her to a family. She married Michael Keenan in 1829 at Abbeylaois. Their first son was William Keenan born 1830 in Abbeylaois.
There was an uncle of William's (I surmise Anne's brother) named Cornelius Phelan, b. 1810 in Abbeylaois, Queen's Co., who had a farm in Kerton, Fulton County, Illinois. He died in Carondelet (St. Louis), in the grounds keeper's house in the Carondelet Park in 1875. This is where the Keenan's lived at the time. There was another Cornelius Phelan in St. Louis at this time, but he was married and had a family. I have not found a connection to this family.

Dwyer's were said to be related also.

Is there any information or connection to this family - either Keenan or Phelan/Phalen or Dwyer?
