I am researching my husband's family FLEMING. His great great grandfather was Thomas FLEMING he was born sometime in the 1820's. We have no names of anyone else from this family. We have no idea when the family or Thomas came to America. We do know he married in the state of Illinois and that he served in the Civil War I have record of all of that.
We have tried to find more out about Thomas and his family for a Family tree chart we are making for our grandchildren and their bibles.
Please if you can help me it would be much appreciated.
