My grandfather, John Walsh, was born in 1908 to Thomas Walsh and Bridget Hennelly. He left his family in New York sometime after 1930 and we had no contact with him after that, so consequently missing all the tidbits that can help find relatives. I have the 1901 & 1911 Ireland Census info but my great aunts' names are so common I'm unable to establish who emigrated and who stayed. Would love to get in touch with relatives still living in the area. I've been finding a lot of connections between the families living in Cloongowla at the time of the two censuses, so would love to hear from anyone with Cloongowla connections.
