Surnames: Clarkin
Some Clarkins arrived in Auckland NZ on Excelsior 1861, being John (26) and Catherine (18). Their parents, Peter Clarkin and Ellen (nee Butler) arrived 1863. They went to Thames and were miners during the gold period. Believe these Clarkins were from Monagahan.
