Classification: Query
Surnames: McKenny, Coffey, Coffy, Guinan, Quinan, Quinnane
My McKenny ancestors were centered near Shannonbridge (near Clonmacnois) in Co.Offaly in the mid 1800's. I"m looking especially for Coffee and Guinan families in the area since they were the surname of Mc Kenny wives. They may have been from Westmeath or Roscommon or Offaly since Shannonbridge is right on the border where several areas intersect.

Near Conmacnois.and Shannonbridge: John McKenny (1816 – 1892) m. Catherine Quinan and his father Patrick McKenny (1790-1835) m. Catherine Coffey

All of John McKenny's children emigrated in the 1850's but I have found no connection with the women's families so far pre or post emigration.
