The History Foundation to which Roscommon belongs has
three potential John Walder/Waldron as it doesn't differentiate the spellings unlike Griffith Valuation.
There are 2 dated 1830 and 1 1825. This gives birth years within 5 year +/-. That isn't a lot and like to given you the answers you want. This website charges a fee. Like most of Ireland, records are not free. About the price of a
cappachino in England. So even if you have to get all three
it is the cheapest and easiest way to get information. You could search a week at the National Library or go to Roscommon and get the info from the genealogy office whose records these are. Then pay for them anyway. Does that sound like correct English? Been in Canada too long.
Back 8 years ago when Wicklow records were not on this Foundation, the same record for 1 cost 15Euro and a family could be 350-500 Euros. That is why I went in person to find my own. I did spend more than the 500 E but enjoyed myself as well. RC records would be different as most are
in local custody so you would need to visit a heck of a lot of parish's to get the right one. This way, you have
a choice of two records so if you chose to go to Ireland
you would only need to visit two which would be much easier.
This website is considered commercial by rootsweb/ancestry
so you need to contact me by regular email to get the
website if you can't find it by googling. Please put History foundation in the subject as I get a lot of spam.
