Surnames: Nefin, Naphan, Nephin, Sharkey
My ancestors left Ireland from Roscommon County circa 1840 and emigrated to Ontario Canada. Five families supposedly brothers came together. They were Patrick, Dominick, Darby, Bartley and Daniel. I have discovered some of these names on the 1838 Tenement records in the areas or Derrypark, Sheegorey, near Boyle.
My ancestor was Dominick and married Catherine Sharkey circa 1829.
