Hello Valerie. I know your post was from several years ago but I recently discovered a connection to Conlon's living in Rathmulpatrick townland, about halfway between Geevagh and Riverstown. I believe that the Peter Conlon listed below in the 1901 census was my GGF John's brother (there was also a sister to Peter and John named Bridget). Do you know of any connection here or if there are any of those Conlon's around still? I think this is my original Conlon Homestead:

1901 Census
Surname Forename Age Sex Relation to head Religion
Conlon Peter 50 Male Head of Family Roman Catholic
Conlon Mary 50 Female Wife Roman Catholic
Conlon John 25 Male Son Roman Catholic
Conlon Mary 23 Female Daughter Roman Catholic
Conlon Bridget 20 Female Daughter Roman Catholic
Conlon James 19 Male Son Roman Catholic
Conlon Margaret 16 Female Daughter Roman Catholic

In between 1901 and 1911, Peter died and Bridget is no longer listed (she must have either emigrated, died or gotten married). This is from 1911:

Thanks,
Ed
