I have recently discovered information on my family whilst on a trip to Sligo and am looking for anyone who can provide any further information or connections:-
Denis O’Hara married Catherine Walsh {Kitty} they had the following Sons all in the Townland of Rathnarrow in the parish of Kilvarnet & Ballysadare, Sligo
Michael – bn Oct 1843
John – bn Apr 1948
Edward – bn 1853 – Edward married Bridget Henry in 1882 and spend most of his days within the parish but moving between the townlands of Ranaghan, Cloonacurra, Ardcree before dying in 1905 at Annaghmore.
Annaghmore was owned by Major Charles O’Hara and I have discovered that O’Hara was the most common name in the parish for a lot of years.
