Classification: Query is a small perhaps we do connect.

The Coggins and Finnerty's in my tree were all here in the US [West of Boston] immigrating around 1864. I narrowed it down to Easky via his [Thomas Coggins/Cogans] citizenship application plus finding one child's birth registrati and on - my G Grandfather Timothy Coggins [or Thadg]. Thomas's wife was Ellen Finnerty [Fenaghty?] and found her mother's death registration too...two weeks before Timothy was born.

I know that Thomas and Ellen had children named : Patrick, Timothy, Nellie, Martin, Francis, John, Winifred and Andrew. Looks like they named kids after parents, perhaps also after grandparents?

In my family their own bible has last name spelled three different ways...Coggins, Cogans, them all and see what you find. Sure seems like we may be part of the same tree. :)
